I think it must be something in the water in the west coast, but I am continually stumbling over the most astounding food stylists and photographers based out of Oregon, Washington. Dana Schultz of the
Minimalist Baker especially caught my eye when I found out not only does she run her blog and write cookbooks, she also started her own business - Food Photography School. The 130 video based program offers lifetime courses in everything from; elements of design to rustic styling to proper food photography for your phone. I have been avidly researching into workshops and food photography classes to take this fall, and the ability to work at my own pace with such an extensive list of courses, make her programs sound very enticing to me! That being said, I have chosen to feature some of Dana's photography in my 'Through The Lens" series this week. For more of her recipes be sure to check out her blog (listed above).
